Welcome To The Sensory Planet Social Network!
Our goal is to bring a positive, purposeful and valuable social network community to those whose lives are affected by Sensory Processing Disorder. We're also committed to help raise funds for much needed research. By becoming a Sensory Planet Subscriber, you become part of the solution. A portion of your membership fee will be donated to support future research and awareness of SPD around the world. Just think about this: You can become part of an international effort to make a difference in SPD and the children and families it affects. Together, we can make a difference!
Parents, Families, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Neurologists, Educators, Mental Health Professionals, Pediatricians and others will be able to benefit by sharing their successes or learning from the challenges of others. By building a network that brings all of these resources together we will greatly strengthen understanding on an individual level as well as a community level: Sensory Planet - One Puzzle, Many Pieces. Come explore our planet!

Have you seen our Facebook feed? Scroll down to the bottom of the home page here on the Planet and you'll see new items as they are posted.
News from the DSM indicates that Sensory Processing Disorder is still being considered for inclusion in the next revision. We are asking all parents, caregivers and those treating SPD to join together on Sensory Planet as a show of unity. Be part of this grassroots effort -- and ask others to as well. We CAN make a difference.

Greetings to all of our new members here on Sensory Planet -- we're glad to have you here with us. Don't forget to join the "All About SPD" group and let's get talking. Welcome!
